The Lumenis Stellar M22™ is a powerful modular medical platform for treating all skin types with more than 30 pathological or aesthetic conditions. It combines several of Lumenis’ patented and time-tested cutting-edge technologies to work efficiently and safely on the patient’s skin. The ability to combine two or more technologies in a single treatment allows for dramatic multiplication of effects and reduction of treatment time.

Lumenis Stellar M22 is the latest, powerful modular platform for multiple skin enhancement applications inspired by the brightest constellation in the sky. It provides your therapist with the ability to safely and effectively treat a variety of indications across skin types, age, and gender. The latest generation of Lumenis M22 called Stellar is the pinnacle achievement of the manufacturing company Lumenis, which invented IPL technology in 1993. This discovery was revolutionary for laser treatments in aesthetic medicine. To this day, Lumenis IPL systems are unsurpassed in their effectiveness and safety.

The Stellar M22 skin treatment is safe for all skin types. Prior to your treatment, patch skin testing will be done to assess how your skin will respond to treatment. Your Rise Wellness provider will do a detailed and customized consultation to determine if Stellar M22 treatment will be an appropriate and effective treatment for you.

The technology and comfort delivered with the Stellar M22 make it ultimately versatile in the areas where we can treat skin conditions. You can have this laser treat across your body, with a few exceptions.

 It typically takes 1 to 3 sessions to have a visible improvement in skin conditions being treated. Optimal results are achieved after 3-5 sessions spaced 2-6 weeks apart.

Stellar M22 treatments are usually painless and comfortable. However, sometimes, you may occasionally experience a sensation similar to a rubber band snap.

Following your customized consultation and prior to your treatment, a skin patch test will be conducted in a small inconspicuous area of your skin in order to determine how your skin will respond to the subsequent full treatment.

After the text patch is done, there is a waiting period (ranging from as little as 15 minutes to sometimes 72 hours, depending on the skin type) to assess the skin response. After the skin patch test result, you will then proceed with the full Stellar M22 skin treatment, which may range from 30-90 minutes, depending on the treatment and indication.

There isn’t any recovery per se. Stellar M22 skin treatments are quick and well tolerated with minimal to no downtime. In the first week or two after treatment, our Rise Wellness Stellar M22 Laser patients may experience treatment side effects, including mild redness, mild swelling, dryness, and itching, but these resolve completely. Patients are strongly encouraged to follow post-treatment instructions for faster recovery and the best results.

At Rise Wellness we use combination of Cryo-Air delivery during our treatments to quickly remove heat from the tissue after the laser energy has been delivered onto the skin. This creates much less discomfort than many other lasers used. But if you have any discomfort, wet a soft washcloth with cold water and place it across the treated area for several minutes. You can also use an ice pack wrapped in a towel. We are available 24/7 to answer any questions that you may have.

Protecting your skin from the sun after treatment is important. You’ll want to avoid sun on your treated areas for a few days before and after each laser session. Use plenty of Sunscreen.

You’ll want to avoid putting anything on your treated skin that can irritate. This includes self-tanning lotions, other lotions with fragrances or perfumes, and body scrubs. When your skin is sensitive, these will cause rashes or other irritation.
